He wanted to show me all of the work he had done there and see it once again for himself...hoping to find each being well taken care of and hopefully "as original". baxter: as for estudio saguaro...dean had asked me to go make some prints of this project . dean's work always had a magical composition that allowed for many interpretations which was always encouraged... well, i got the prints back and headed over to dean's. dean looked at the prints, a little longer than expected, smiled then told me the floor plan was reversed. i obviously felt bad but would have felt worse if it wasn't for dean keeping that smile throughout our visit.. October 7, 2008 @ 5:15 PM
baxter: howdy folks! i've been meaning to post dean's estudio saguaro. i'm not too sure how to post....need some hints cause i cannot find where to create a user/password or if there is a master.... October 7, 2008 @ 12:50 PM

I will conclude with Dean's horoscope for the day.A new chapter in your life is just beginning and by the end of this week you will be well on the way to fame and fortune. Too good to be true? Maybe, but you must not allow yourself to think that way. Be positive and your mind will make it happen.. August 25, 2008 @ 8:17 AM

bart: Mr. Smith, Thank you for sharing this. We are grateful for your restoration. Please post pics of the house as well, if you can. The library of built works has begun here, thanks to you. John: This site was not a memorial but a reflection and celebration of a great teacher and architect its sad how it feels like a memorial and tribute now, maybe Dean understood this and had a glimse into life after death, I hope we can all keep this site going in perpetuity, and of course Dean has several lifetimes of drawings to post. May 15, 2008 @ 5:36 AM

John: OK, Here are some shots of GSangrada Familia in Techni Color thanks to photoshop. The Barcelona Cityscape shows Jean Nouvel's tower superimposed where the main tower of SF is to be, which looks to be close to the right size. If Nouvel was thinking this its pretty interesting to see a steel and glass modern buiding referencing a historic context that doesn't exisit yet. Talk about quixotic Spain, masters of the surreal, yea.. April 27, 2008 @ 9:01 PM
bart: congrats, gordon!. April 17, 2008 @ 10:14 PM
